Ticket orders will be available for purchase over the internet and delivered by email exclusively at this time. The Purchaser will receive, by email, a confirmation of the order with their ticket number(s) and tickets(s) attached and available for download and to print.

A total of 17,000 tickets are available, with 10,200 tickets for $100.00 and 6,800 tickets @ 5 for $400.00. Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. The 50/50 draw will have a total of 61,000 tickets with 5,000 tickets available at 1 for $10.00, 14,400 tickets @ 3 tickets for $25.00, 17,600 tickets @ 8 tickets for $50.00 and 24,000 tickets @ 20 tickets for $100.00. Total jackpot can grow up to $400,000.00. Winners of the 50/50 draw will receive half of the proceeds.


The following people are not permitted to purchase tickets in this lottery: Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA Board of Directors, full and part-time staff members, KPMG LLP BDO employees or employees and partners of Darelle Media Inc. A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is physically in British Columbia and if the ticket or a receipt is issued at that time. Tickets or receipts will not be distributed to, emailed, mailed or otherwise sent to a non-resident’s third-party address in B.C.

A non-resident winner of a prize is responsible for all costs associated with delivery of prize to the location the winner specifies, that is outside the province of British Columbia.

When a resident of British Columbia is outside the province of British Columbia, they may not place an order to purchase tickets. This restriction includes all methods of ordering tickets.

There are 833 prizes available to be won including the grand prize. The odds of winning any prize is 1 in 20 and 1 in 17,000 to win the grand prize of a Dream Home valued at $696,800.00.

Winner of the 50/50 draw will win one half of the money for the 50/50 ticket sales. Actual odds are dependent on the number of tickets sold.


Prizes are awarded tax free in Canada. The price of tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.


Cut-off times for ticket sales are at 20:00 on June 29, 2020. The final draw for all prizes will be held at 8:00 on July 8, 2020. The draw will be overseen and supervised by KPMG LLP and take place at Orchard Walk located at #160-200 Grand Boulevard, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 0H3. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or verified as paid are eligible to be entered in the draw(s).

The winner of any prize does not have to be present to claim the prize.

The retail value of the grand prize is $696,800.00 and the retail value of all prizes is $863,947.05 based on Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price as provided by our supplier and this amount includes any related taxes on individual prizes.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and must be claimed within one (1) year of the draw date. No substitutions are permitted by winners except where a cash option or alternate prize is specified. Prizes may not be exactly as shown. Winners of a prize will be required to sign a “Receipt of Prize” and consent to the release of their names by the Licensee.


Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA has contracted the services of Darelle Media Inc. ( to sell Lottery tickets through the Internet by way of a real-time processing and payment system and where the purchaser’s ticket is paid for immediately online. The transaction and payment processing system used for processing online ticket sales is Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council compliant.

Lottery tickets will be sent to the purchaser by email or through the Internet where the Purchaser will download and print a copy of the ticket.

In addition:

  • Ticket purchasers must be physically in the province of B.C. when placing the order; and
  • The address given for tickets must be a valid B.C. address

Non-residents of British Columbia cannot purchase tickets by phone, fax or mail.

Group name in trust – When a Group name is added at the time of purchase the Group Name will be added to the ticket when issued to the primary purchaser. It is then considered held in trust by the primary purchaser for the benefit of the Group. The identity and members of the group are the responsibility of the primary purchaser.


Each ticket will be re-entered for subsequent prize drawings thus each person has a chance at winning all the prizes. Each winning ticket will be selected using a random number generator.

If a credit card payment is charged back, you will be contacted by the Payment Processor, the Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA, and/or Darelle Media Inc. and given opportunity to provide replacement payment according to the terms and conditions of the Payment Processor and or Darelle Media Inc. Any tickets issued will be considered invalid until replacement payment is received.

The records of Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA shall be deemed correct if there is a discrepancy in numbers.

All sales are final once the ticket number is assigned, and all sales are subject to credit approval. The Licensee reserves discretionary right not to accept entries.

The Purchaser is responsible for proof-of-ownership of shared tickets.

Should a prize be unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of the Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA, the winner shall be awarded the fair market value of the prize.

The liability of the Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA is limited to the ticket price paid. Winners will be notified directly by email, phone and/or mail by the Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA as to the prize they have won and how to claim.
